Get ready to crawl!

Its just a little over a week away until the 2016 Startup Crawl and I can’t wait! As Startland News recently reported, KC is a thriving hub for innovation … #16 on the Top 20 Startup Cities and #7 for women-owned businesses. So what better way to learn about the startups that call Kansas City home, than to participate in the 2016 KC Startup Crawl. Whether you have considered starting a business of your own, or just enjoy learning about up-and-coming businesses, this is a don’t miss event.

Things I am looking forward to:
  • When are people more excited about their business than when it is in the startup phase? So I can’t wait to experience the buzz and excitement of the event.
  • Speaking with the the entrepreneurs about ways I might be able to help them out will also be a highlight.
  • And I hope to make it over to Stratex Solutions for a demo of their product. I’m always looking for execution software I can recommend to clients.

  • The KC Startup Crawl is the kickoff event for 1 Week KC… a week long event dedicated to connecting entrepreneurs with the resources and contacts the need.
  • The KC Startup Crawl will feature approximately 100 startups … checkout their websites and familiarize yourself with their products or services before your go.

What’s a crawl without shuttles?
Attendees will be shuttled between the eleven locations playing host for the night… locations such as Think Big Partners, the Sprint Accelerator, and KC Startup Village (and more). Click here to map out your route.
  • Locations open to the public at 4pm.
  • Shuttles start their crawl loop at 4:30pm.
  • Organizers estimate the time between shuttles to be 15m.
  • Shuttles will begin their last loop at 8:45pm.
  •  Shuttle service ends at 10:00pm when locations close their doors.
  • After party at the Crossroads! (more details to be posted on the Startup Crawl site).
